Characteristics of Pingpong and Crystal Longan Trees

You can communicate with your seller about many varieties of longan trees and get whichever you want. Make sure to know the basic characteristics of high quality longan varieties. Here are some of them:

1. Ping Pong Longan

This variety has very unique leaf shape with long, quite elastic stems and branches that can be easily modified how you want it. These are its characteristics:

• Oval-shaped leaves 4 cm wide and 10-11 cm long;
• Curved leaf edges;
• Slither-y, elastic stems;
• Fruits in the size of a pingpong ball with big seeds, thin meat and skin, fresh aroma;
• Starts bearing fruit after 9-12 months since first planting;
• Harvest productivity can reach 1 kg per tree from trees aged 7-10 months;

2. Crystal Longan

Characteristics:

• Droopy stems and branches, curved down usually due to gravity;
• Thin long leaves, around 19-23 cm in length and 5-6 cm in width, usually light green in color;
• The fruit has thick meat, about 4-5 cm;
• Thick skin;
• The fruit is tasty with unique scent to it;
